My Name is Leigh Busuttil and I am the owner of Edge Boutique , Leeds. I am a motivated and energetic individual, that loves being creative and I find that working in my hair salon in Leeds gives me an opportunity to share my knowledge with my team of friendly and skilled stylists and all our valued customers . Being a creative means I always need to progress my work and I regularly enter competitions and subject my work to critique from fellow professionals. I really have passion for hairdressing and my vision is to be an ambassador for the hairdressing industry. Growth is not just for hair but for me as an stylist , I feel I always can learn new techniques and styles . Innovation and creation are my motto’s and I am a dedicated professional with a bubbly and out going personality. I love life and I love my work .

Aged 16 Trained with Vidal Sassoon in Leeds

Aged 17 Trained with Damien Seymour in Leeds

Apprenticeship served at Thomas Danby College. In Levels 2 & 3 in hairdressing

Post training at salons over a 3 year period including Mirage of Leeds, Franks International and Ross Barbers of Leeds

Aged 22 Bought out Ross Barbers of Leeds

Whitwood College . continued training in Levels 2 & 3 in barbering

Huddersfield University 1999-2002 . Assessors A1 + A2 Teaching qualification plus level 4 in academic writing.

2002 Began teaching Barbering and hairdressing at Wakefield College

2008 to present day . I opened Edge Boutique in Morley

2013 to present day .Training provider for Hairdressing and Barbering course for Picasso’s training academy in Ossett.

I have been fortunate to have some professional clients including  Simon Shaw from Wahl, Andrew Barton Jenny Lenard who trained with Alexanders Mcqueens cat walk hair stylist.
